Stephen J. Stanley joined the Salem Law Group in February of 2006, as its managing attorney. He is a veteran litigator and specializes in business and government, real estate, eminent domain, construction and other civil litigation. Mr. Stanley has served as lead attorney on more than 65 jury trials and was named litigator of the year for the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office in 1998.

Mr. Stanley received his law degree from Whittier Law School in Los Angeles in 1995. He was most recently an Assistant Attorney General with the Florida Attorney General’s Office, focusing on eminent domain litigation and property acquisition. He is an expert at resolving complex issues on land use, zoning and value.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Stanley was a Real Estate Broker and negotiated several multi-million dollar development and commercial property transactions.

Mr. Stanley is an active member of the Davis Island Civic Association, having served on its Board of Directors since 1999. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
